Is Silk'n Flash & Go?
no-no! is a HUGE no-no!
The Flash & Go can be used on any area of the body. First, you shave the application area to allow maximum penetration of the light pulse. Then, hold the unit directly on your skin and press the activation button. You will see a quick flash of light and that's all there is to it! You move on to the next area and repeat. A typical application time for both legs is about 15 to 20 minutes. When the hair starts to grow back, it will be noticeably finer and grow slower than before. After the hair is long enough to shave, you repeat the process. After 3 to 4 applications, the hair eventually stops growing back leaving you with beautifully smooth skin. In some cases, after a few months, you may notice very fine hair start to grow. One quick application will stop the hair growth in its tracks.
The Silk'N Flash & Go is a smart investment for anyone desiring permanent hair removal at home. Having beautifully soft, smooth skin is more efficient and cost effective with the Silk'n Flash & Go than shaving, waxing or professionally applied treatments. Over your lifetime, the amount of time you spend on hair removal will be reduced saving you both time and money.
The Silk'n Flash & Go hair remover offers permanent hair removal with the advantage of clinically proven effectiveness. Silk'n is not a laser hair remover. It uses IPL technology (Intense Pulsed Light) via an ultra high intensity lamp. The IPL lamp works exactly like a laser but costs much less saving you money.
IPL systems (and lasers) remove hair by producing short bursts of high intensity light that send light energy through the skin. The melanin in the hair follicle absorbs the light energy which permanently disables the hair follicle. Note: More than one application will be required for permanent hair removal.
IPL is as effective as a laser with the advantage of being able to use it on darker skin tones. Because the heat energy produced by IPL & Lasers acts on the melanin in the hair follicle, laser devices are not recommended for darker skin tones as they cannot easily penetrate the skin. If you have dark skin, the Silk'n Flash & Go is for you.
